connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.


Client Services Officer - Greensborough

About the role

Reporting to the Manager - Northern Melbourne your day-to-day work will be supervised by our Client Service Co-ordinator.  You will provide an efficient, welcoming first point of contact for clients and people contacting RAV about services and programs, responding in a helpful manner via phone and in person.  You will provide organisational and administrative support to management and staff, undertake basic assessment of client service needs and coordination, booking, data entry and processing of client appointments.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Office Administration certificate and/or previous experience in a similar administration capacity, preferably within a medical or client/customer work environment.
  • Proven experience answering high volume inbound calls, delivery of high quality customer service, ideally within a medical or health care related environment.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of skill in dealing with clients with complex needs in a supportive, empathetic and effective manner.
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to pick up new programs and business systems.
  • Previous experience working in a culturally diverse work environment is highly desirable.

This position is a 12-month, fixed term role, part-time for 30hours per week and will include one afternoon/evening shift until 8pm weekly. RAV centres may be open, depending on client demand and operational requirements, during standard business hours and up to two nights per week or a Saturday morning. 

RAV requires all employees to undertake a satisfactory National and/or International Police Check (if applicable) and Working with Children Check prior to employment.
