connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.


Client Services Officer - Traralgon and hs-Bairnsdale

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced client services officer to join our team, working across both Relationships Australia Victoria Traralgon office and headspace Bairnsdale office.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Gippsland, your day-to-day work will be supervised by our Client Services Coordinator in each centre.  You will provide an efficient, welcoming first point of contact for clients and people contacting RAV and headspace about services and programs, responding in a helpful manner via phone and in person.  You will provide organisational and administrative support to management and staff, undertake basic assessment of client service needs and coordination, booking, data entry and processing of client appointments.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Office Administration certificate and/or previous experience in a similar administration capacity, preferably within a medical or client/customer work environment.
  • Proven experience answering high volume inbound calls, delivery of high quality customer service, ideally within a medical or health care related environment.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of skill in dealing with clients with complex needs in a supportive, empathetic and effective manner.
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to pick up new programs and business systems.
  • Previous experience working in a culturally diverse work environment is highly desirable.
  • A current driver’s license and access to a car.

This casual position will provide support services at our Relationships Australia Victoria office in Traralgon and headspace Bairnsdale. RAV centres are open Monday to Friday and also 1 – 2 nights per week or a Saturday morning. The successful candidate may be required to work evenings (Tuesday and Thursday).
