About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager Clinical Services, you will be responsible for providing practice leadership for family violence services at RAV by undertaking projects that enhance family violence clinical governance practice, program and service development such as family dispute resolution and family counselling programs. This role will also have oversight of RAV’s Men’s Behaviour Change Program work and building the capacity of clinical supervisors and those who respond to family violence concerns for individuals, families including children.
You will also develop family violence service related policies, procedures and documentation ensuring our programs are aligned within the sector and progressed in relation to developments.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • The delivery of high level advice and consultations regarding Family Violence service provision to senior staff and practitioners.
  • Level Three qualification in the provision of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs, complying with the minimum practice standards in the sector, developed by No to Violence (NTV).
  • The development of initiatives and processes that both build capacity for Clinical Supervisors to supervise and respond to family violence presentations, and disseminate the practice expertise across the organisation.
  • The identification, development and implementation of initiatives, defined in conjunction with General Manager Clinical Services, which enhance Family Violence practice and service delivery for individuals and families, including children.
  • Assist Quality Management Unit in the development of policies and procedures that support progressive best practice in Family Violence work.
  • Assist QMU in the identification of relevant areas for review and assist in the development of audit compliance systems for Family Violence.
