connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.


Program Facilitators

  • Casual employment until January 2019.

About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Training you will be responsible for delivering an intensive one-day psycho – education workshop “Looking at me Identifying priorities Next steps Community Services” (LINCS) to offenders on Community Corrections Orders.
The Program Facilitator is responsible for using adult learning principles in facilitating all aspects of the LINCS workshop in Community Corrections Services (CCS) locations across metro Melbourne and regional Victoria.
The role will involve some rostered work on a Saturday, with advance notice.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Relevant qualifications in Education, Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or other related fields.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment and/or minimum 5 years’ experience in facilitating training workshops to adults.
  • High level facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience facilitating workshops to adults from variety of backgrounds and needs; including clients with complex needs.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Capacity to work flexibly, independently and cooperatively in a dynamic workplace environment with high level emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire and motivate others in times of rapid change.
  • Understanding of strengths based approaches in working with offenders.

This role is based in our Camberwell Central Office but will require travel within Melbourne and regional Victoria. A fully maintained vehicle and Victorian Drivers License is required. 
RAV requires all employees to undertake a satisfactory National and/or International Police Check (if applicable) and Working with Children Check prior to employment.
