connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.


Receptionist - Camberwell

About the role
Reporting to the Office Manager this excellent opportunity exists for a self-starter with/without receptionist experience. The purpose of this position is to enhance the reputation of RAV by ensuring any person who is in contact with the organisation is responded to in a helpful professional manner so that their requirements are met in a timely and efficient way.

The main responsibilities include providing an efficient, welcoming first point of contact, effectively managing face to face and telephone contact, undertaking initial basic assessment of client needs to ensure appropriate referral to RAV services and daily office errands including mail, catering, supermarket orders, and stationery orders.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

  • Excellent all-round computer skills and literacy, having used Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • High standard of personal grooming, well presented in a business-like fashion.
  • High level of confidentiality. 
  • Office Administration certificate and/or previous experience in a similar reception capacity would be considered favourable.

This role is based at our Central Office located in Camberwell with easy access to public transport including tram, train, and bus.

RAV requires all employees to undertake a satisfactory National and/or International Police Check (if applicable) and Working with Children Check prior to employment.
