connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.


Senior Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner - Sunshine

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Senior Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) to join our team at the Sunshine Family Relationships Centre.

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Western Region, your responsibilities include provision of supervision and support to other FDR Practitioners and to provide FDR services to separating parents, arrangements for children and support for parents with separation issues all within a limited time frame.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Accreditation as an FDRP pursuant to Regulations 5 and 6 Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2008.
  • Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution or equivalent qualifications in Conflict Resolution.
  • Registration as an FDRP with the Attorney-General’s Department.
  • Minimum of 5 years FDR, family law mediation and/or dispute resolution experience.
  • Experience in providing supervision to FDR practitioners.

This role is based in Sunshine. The role is permanent, full time. RAV centres may be open, depending on client demand and operational requirements, 1-2 nights per week or a Saturday morning.  Depending upon the role and location, you will be required to work an evening each week or other working hours will be negotiated which may be outside of standard business hours, on a regular basis.
