connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support


RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Child and Parenting

We provide programs designed to improve the wellbeing and safety of children and young people. We also offer group work and post separation parenting courses. Individual mums and dads come together with others in similar situations to share their experiences and learn new skills.

Repair-enting (Kew)

A structured group program for dads who have used violence in their relationships

A program for men who have completed a level 2 Men's Behaviour Change Program in the past year, and who are currently parenting children on a part- or full-time basis, or are hoping to redevelop a relationship with their children.

The program covers:

  • understanding your experience of fathering
  • developing short- and long-term parenting goals
  • being a role model for respectful behaviour
  • listening to and validating your children's expereinces
  • supporting and respecting mothers
  • problem solving
  • effective communication
  • repairing your relationship with your children.

The program will provide you with the opportunity to discuss

  • more effective ways to parent 
  • ways to restore and repair your relationship with your children
  • ideas to help your children learn and grow through being a positive role model.
