connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Relationships can be enriching and great fun, but they usually require hard work as well.  We offer sessions for couples, or for individuals to discuss relationship concerns.

Steering the Right Path (South Morang)

Guide better decisions for the future and learn the best ways to plan a family route for ageing.

Guide better decisions for the future and learn the best ways to
plan a family route for ageing.

As increasing numbers of us live longer and thrive in our later years, it’s never been more important to plan ahead.

We often delay planning for the future until a crisis, illness or financial difficulty requires us to find urgent solutions.

As a result, decision-making can often be rushed, creating tensions and disputes in families, or resulting in unwise arrangements that cause problems further down the track.

To help guide better decisions for the future, we offer interactive, informative workshops where you can learn about the best way to plan future living arrangements and structure family financial agreements, and find out about Powers of Attorney, wills, advance care directives and much more.

The two-hour program focuses on:

  • Planning: finances, living arrangements, care plans, advance directives, and powers of attorney.
  • Preserving: family relationships, social connection, autonomy and respect.
  • Preventing: resentment, conflict and abuse.
