connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Family Violence

We provide a range of group programs to support people who have experienced violence and abuse.

Inroads - Men's Behaviour Change (Kew)

Inroads is a program for men who want to end their use of violence and other problem behaviour in their relationships. The program is designed to help men to stop hurting the people they love most, and in the process become better partners and better fathers.

Getting Started

Call our Kew Centre to arrange a time for an assessment where you will have a one on one interview. This will involve talking about what has been happening in your family and relationships, telling you more about the program and helping you identify the behaviours you want to change.

Program staff will also make contact with your family to offer support and any assistance they might want. We do this because people exposed to family violence need support.
