connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Relationships

Relationships can be enriching and great fun, but they usually require hard work as well.  We offer sessions for couples, or for individuals to discuss relationship concerns.

Relationship Rescue (Kew)

Falling in love is easy, but staying connected and loving in a relationship is a challenge. The truth is that relationships require work. Learning relationship skills helps couples to communicate better, manage conflict, understand differences and co-operate and collaborate as a team.

In a one-day seminar, you and your partner can develop and practise strategies to improve your relationship in a supportive group environment. Facilitated by two experienced relationship therapists, you will share and learn from each other in this course.

Relationship Rescue is for you if:

  • you and your partner argue about the same topics over and over
  • you feel angry, resentful and hurt
  • you want to improve your relationship but feel it’s too hard
  • you and your partner have considered separation or divorce.

But you want your relationship to last!

Please note, Relationship Rescue is not suitable for couples who have experienced violence in their relationship. If you have experienced violence, please call us to discuss a more suitable alternative.
