Safe Resolutions Legally-Assisted Family Dispute Resolution

A free, legally-assisted family dispute resolution service for the Vietnamese community in Melbourne’s West.

A free, legally-assisted family dispute resolution service for the Vietnamese community in Melbourne’s West.

Are you separated or separating, and need:

  • to plan where your children will live?
  • to plan when and how your children will see the other parent?
  • assistance in reaching agreements about your property and assets?
  • support if you are experiencing family violence?

How we can help you

We can provide legally-assisted family dispute resolution, also known as mediation, to help you and the other parent to resolve your family law disputes safely.

We will meet with you and the other parent separately, to assess if the service is right for you and your circumstances. If mediation is suitable, we will provide you with your own lawyer who can have a confidential discussion with you beforehand and then represent you through the process.

We have highly experienced mediators, Vietnamese interpreters trained in family law, and Vietnamese-speaking staff at our centre who you can talk to. If you are experiencing family violence, our Vietnamese Family Safety Worker can provide you with support.

Community presentations

We can also talk to your community group about separation, parenting after separation and other aspects of family law.
