Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support


RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Client Service Coordinator - Traralgon

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Gippsland, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be an experienced professional with considerable knowledge of office oversight, coordination, supervision and support to administrative staff and administrative coordination for clinical staff. The Client Service Coordinator provides high level practice management and administrative support to facilitate the delivery of care to clients who access the centre.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise administrative workloads/tasks to
    efficiently and effectively produce results
  • Certificate, Diploma or tertiary qualifications in administrative/secretarial studies or equivalent and several years’ experience in a busy administrative office environment
  • Highly developed general computer skills and computer literacy, MS Office Suite, CRM (preferable) and the demonstrated capacity to learn IT new systems
  • Experience working in a strong customer/client focused environment and representing a professional image and standard
  • Demonstrated capacity to assist members of the public and potential clients, understanding their needs and the range of services provided by RAV.
  • Previous experience supervising an office and/or office staff, coordinating, supervising and developing a small team.

 This role is based in Traralgon, Gippsland. The position is permanent, part-time 4 days per week. For this role, you can expect to work late on a Thursday evening, on a regular basis.
