connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.


Client Services Officer - Traralgon

  • Two positions available: permanent, part-time (3 days per week) or casual contract.
  • Part-time base salary $61kpa (pro-rata), plus superannuation and tax-benefits.
  • Casual salary $39 per hour (inclusive of casual loading).
  • Located in Traralgon in a busy, high volume centre.

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Gippsland, your day-to-day work will be supervised by our Client Service Co-ordinator. You will provide an efficient, welcoming first point of contact for clients and people contacting RAV about services and programs, responding in a helpful manner via phone and in person. You will provide organisational and administrative support to management and staff, undertake basic assessment of client service needs and manage the coordination, booking, data entry and processing of client appointments.


Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Office Administration certificate and/or previous experience in a similar administration capacity, preferably within a medical or client/customer work environment.
  • Proven experience answering high volume inbound calls, delivery of high-quality customer service, ideally within a medical or health care related environment.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of skill in dealing with clients with complex needs in a supportive, empathetic and effective manner.
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to pick up new programs and business systems.
  • Previous experience working in a culturally diverse work environment is highly desirable.


We have two positions available. One role is permanent, part-time (22hrs, 3 days per week) with a late night on Tuesday and the other is a casual appointment. Both roles are based at our Traralgon centre.


What we offer: The successful candidate for the part-time position will receive a competitive remuneration package ($61kpa (pro-rata)), plus superannuation and salary packaging. The successful candidate for the casual position will receive a competitive casual hourly rate of $39 per hour.
