connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Family Violence Practice Skills Short Course

Relationships Australia Victoria
2:03pm Monday, 28 October 2019

Recognising the needs of the family violence workforce, we are offering a Family Violence Practice Skills Short Course in December 2019.

The course will equip professionals to respond to victims/survivors of family violence, as well as understand perpetrator characteristics, attitudes and behaviours. The training will provide information on current industry trends, standards and expectations along with opportunities to learn and practice new skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Suitable for professionals wishing to enhance their skills to work with clients impacted by family violence, the course aims to fill a gap for professionals who may already have qualifications, but feel under-equipped to respond to situations of family violence in their client group.

To read more and register click here, or contact our Training and Development Team via email or by calling (03) 8573 2222.

If you're affected by family violence, information and support are available. Read about our family violence prevention, support and recovery programs and services or contact your nearest centre.
