connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Support for Fathers Australian Roadshow

Relationships Australia Victoria
12:17pm Friday, 16 August 2019

The Support for Fathers project will soon be launching our new website including resources for young men and fathers, and a Professionals’ Toolkit for professionals who work with fathers and families.

The newly developed resources will inform the delivery of free community information sessions and professional training opportunities around Australia as part of the Support for Fathers Australian Roadshow, starting later this year.

Community information sessions will cover topics including:

  • seven types of dad
  • healthy family relationships
  • bonding with your kids
  • connecting with other dads
  • dads at work.

Workplace training sessions are designed to share our Professionals’ Toolkit with support services and demonstrate how this resource can assist services to engage dads and families in positive and effective ways.
