connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Relationship Counselling Course with Family Violence Focus

Do you want to become a relationship counsellor with expertise in domestic and family violence?

As a relationship counsellor, you can support individuals and families with a range of complex personal and relational issues affecting individual and family functioning, which have implications for child wellbeing and development.  This course is suitable for counsellors (or equivalently qualified or experienced practitioners) who are seeking to enhance their skills and work with individuals, couples and families impacted by domestic and family violence.

After completing our relationship counselling course, graduates may be eligible to work with a range of complex issues, including family violence, within community service organisations and government departments.

Our innovative, new course is also designed to equip graduates with the requisite skills and knowledge to work in a variety of senior roles involving the oversight of family violence service delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, risk management, multi-disciplinary collaborative practice aligned with current legislation and practice requirements, family violence practice guidelines and legal/statutory obligations.
