Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support


RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Would you like to work for us? Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is a leading and valued provider of specialist family and relationship services. We are a community-based not-for-profit organisation, with no religious affiliations. 

We employ qualified professionals with expertise in counselling, mediation, family dispute resolution, children and family therapy, community liaison, group facilitation, training and development as well as corporate support staff in areas including human resources, communications, information technology and financial administration. RAV provides client services from thireteen (13) locations across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria and is funded by the Australian Government, as well as through state and local government grants and client fees. Our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) provides accredited training in family dispute resolution and relationship management skills for clinicians and other professionals. It also provides clinical supervision and consultancy services.
