Our Men’s Behaviour Change Program is for men who want to end their use of controlling and abusive behaviours, including violent incidents, in their relationships. It’s designed to help men to stop hurting the people they love most, develop an improved sense of self, and in the process become better partners and fathers.
To get started, call our centre to make a time to attend an assessment. Individual assessment times are available between now and 21 December 2018.
We will provide you with information about the program and determine if it’s right for you, at which time you will be able to book into the information session on Monday 14 January 2019.
You will also meet privately with a group facilitator to talk about what has been happening in your family and relationships, and begin to identify your goals that are related to the behaviours you want to change.
Family safety is an important aspect of the program, so our staff will also make contact with your family members to offer them support and assistance they might need. We do this because people exposed to family violence need support.
Please note, you must attend both the assessment and information session before joining the group.
