In 2023, here at Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) we’re celebrating our organisation’s 75th anniversary. It’s a huge milestone for any service, and we’re considering not only the journey we’ve taken since we first began as the Marriage Guidance Council of Victoria, but also our future directions.
Since 1948, we’ve grown from a volunteer-based counselling and education organisation based in Collins Street, to providing over 100 services to clients across Victoria from more than 20 sites, and through additional outreach locations and telepractice.
We’re proud to have supported over 620,000 clients.
We’re marking our anniversary with our staff, who are the heart and soul of our organisation, as well as with our valued Board members and stakeholders.
We’re grateful for the support of the Australian and Victorian Governments, as well as our many valuable partnerships across both Victoria and Australia, without whom we would not be able to provide the high-quality services that make such a difference in the lives of our clients.
Most of all, we would like to thank our clients for their continued trust, as we work together to achieve our vision for positive, respectful, safe and fulfilling relationships for all Australians.
