headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation provides tailored and holistic early intervention mental health support to 12 to 25 year olds. headspace centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drugs, or work and study support. A national network of 110 headspace centres operates across metropolitan, regional and rural areas of Australia, along with a range of satellites, outreach and support. headspace also operates eheadspace, an online and phone counselling service which supports young people who are not able to access a headspace centre or would prefer to get help online. Since 2006, headspace has supported more than half a million young Australians to strengthen their wellbeing and manage their mental health.
headspace Bairnsdale provides free and confidential support services to help young with any concerns they have about their mental health, drug and alcohol issues, general and sexual health, and relationships. Our services include therapeutic, drug and alcohol counselling, psychiatric consultations, vocational guidance, help with job seeking as well as health and wellbeing services for all young people.

The operation of headspace Bairnsdale is possible through the collaboration and contribution of a range of local service providers, led by RAV, forming the headspace Bairnsdale Consortium.
